Thanksgiving in Jamacia

No Problem? Ok so its a little more laid back then most resorts, so much so one might call the culture lazy, but this little island getaway is definately a beauty. Sun every day except today which posed a perfect opportunity for a post. The resort was packed from the beginning as guests clamored to save pool side lounge chairs before 8 am. This led to slower than expected services and "reservations required" at every dinner venue. Jill and I golfed at the White Witch Golf course which had jaw-dropping views from every tee. We were scheduled for golf today but experienced a "rainout". We'll be heading up to the White Witch house for a tour to learn about the White woman who killed three of her husbands and many slaves at this once great sugar plantation. Sofie's concerned that the Witch is still alive or that we'll be seeing her grave. Should be fun. The kids have been having a great time on the beach and at the pool, though its seems they're definately ready to come home. Photos soon to come!! I would be cheating myself if I didn't mention the Morris family from NY. One night Jill and I headed up to the "Nice" restaurant on the hill for a romantic dinner, only to be inindated by a bus load of Morris children singing questionably lyriced ryhmes the entire way, then only to be sat next to their two tables of 8 at the restaruant for more antics. Later in the restaurant lounge, the apologetic Uncles treated me to a cigar for our troubles. All's well that ends well! Hope you're all well and the holidays were good. See you in a couple of days!

I too would be a little nervous about this Witch character. Can't wait to see photos!
